As per Spanish outlet Fichajes, Tottenham Hotspur are prioritising the signing of Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra and are ready to push ahead with an offer in January.

Spurs are expected to send a bid for the midfielder during the January transfer window. Valencia are said to be asking for 35 million Euros, which equates to around 29 million pounds – a fee that is described as an “obstacle” for the club, but there is belief that a “middle ground” can be agreed.

Valencia have had to sell players for less than optimal fees in the past due to their financial issues, with Peter Lim having ran the club into the ground over a prolonged period of time.
