Barack Obama includes Charli XCX drug song in his summer playlist as she sings about having ‘a line’
As a former President of the United States, I thought Barack Obama would be impeccable in every aspect of his life – even his taste in music.
But the politician, who spent eight years in the White House until 2017, included some surprising choices in a playlist of his favorite songs from the summerwhich features a Charli XCX song about taking large amounts of drugs.

When he posted his list on Instagram on Monday, many were shocked to see the track 365 included, as it features Charli singing: “Should we do a little melody? Should we have a little line?”
I guess he’s having a brat summer like millions of others.
But that’s not the only song to raise eyebrows.
Glorilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s song Wanna Be features – with nearly 30 swear words and X-rated lines about sex too crude to repeat here.
This is also the case in Jump by Tyla, Gunna and Skillbeng, which Barack said he listened to on repeat.
It features Gunna rapping about what he wants to do to someone in the bedroom.
I expect Barack’s daughters, Malia and Sasha, who are both in their twenties, to skip family karaoke nights if those are the lyrics their dad wants to sing.
NICK IS NOT VIOLENT AS HE CELEBRATES HIS 40TH BIRTHDAY
CONGRATULATIONS to Nick Grimshaw, who turns 40 today – and he marked it by proving his wild days may well be over.
The presenter, who was known as a real party animal during his time at Radio 1 from 2007 to 2018, took part in what was expected to be a wild night at Ibiza’s DC-10 nightclub with close friend RITA ORA and his dancer fiancée Mesh Henry on Monday.
But he was already back at his hotel a few hours later and ended the evening with a bowl of Coco Pops, a bottle of sparkling water and a late-night reading of a book called Secret Walks Of Ibiza South.
Nick, who brought his family to White Isle for a week to celebrate the event, still managed to stay at the club until 3am, which is much better than I’ve done in a while.
And he was still up in time for a healthy lunch in the sun yesterday.
I just hope the hangover has passed in time for his real birthday today.

A GLOBAL superstar is the last thing I expect when I go to the supermarket to do my big shopping.
But fans turned out in force when Ed Sheeran appeared in a Sainsbury’s outside St Albans, Herts, yesterday to sell his brand of hot sauce.

The Perfect singer used his Tingly Ted’s condiment to offer “sauceographs” to customers, signing everything from blocks of cheddar to kitchen rolls with the hot stuff.
Ed, who took a rare break from his maths tour, said: “It was really exciting to pop into Sainsbury’s and surprise some of the customers. Tingly Ted’s was a really fun project.”
Unsurprisingly, hundreds of people turned out after Ed announced his appearance on social media.

JANET’S COUSINS, WHO ARE FIRST LIST PEOPLE
As a member of one of the world’s most famous musical dynasties, Janet Jackson is pretty well connected.
But it turns out their family tree is a little more extensive than many of us thought.
Speaking to Scott Mills on Radio 2, the All For You singer revealed that Stevie Wonder is one of a string of very famous cousins.
She confirmed: “Yes, he is our cousin. Not many people know that.
“He’s our cousin on my mother’s side. So is Tracy Chapman. So is Samuel L. Jackson.”
It says “Who do you think you are?” everywhere.
Janet is in the UK ahead of five major concerts, starting in Birmingham on September 27.
And while Beyoncé sings while running on a treadmill to get in shape for her shows, Janet revealed her trick.
She said: “A trampoline is how you condition singing, to get your heart rate up and be able to move and sing at the same time.”
But Janet said she needed a little more help with her costume changes.
She added: “I have people helping me, someone at my feet changing my shoes, someone changing me and I help myself.”
