Fallon Sherrock made history on Saturday as she became the first woman to hit a nine-darter at a PDC event.
Sherrock beat Marco Verhofstad 5-3 in her opening round match in Winmau Challenge Tour Event
The 28-year-old went 3-0 up in the match when she hit the stunning nine-dart finish through the 180, 180, 141 route.
Sherrock then went on to complete her 5-3 victory.
A statement on PDC’s official Twitter account read: “NINE-DARTER!
“Fallon Sherrock hits a nine-darter in her opening round tie against Marco Verhofstad in Winmau Challenge Tour Event Nine!
“Sherrock becomes the first woman to hit a nine-dart finish in a PDC event!”
She did so at Alexandra Palace by becoming the first woman to beat a man at the PDC World Darts Championship when she defeated Ted Evetts.
Sherrock then knocked out No.11 seed Mensur Suljovic before losing 4-2 in the third round against Chris Dobey.
