regarding the discovery of a woman’s corpse in a freezer at a residence in the eastern valley. Monique Gilbertson was identified as the victim by the LVMPD. The mobile residence belongs to her. According to the police, the management office contacted them on November 6 regarding a householder in the community. The office manager disclosed to the police that she had established a rapport with Gilbertson in the past few months. Gilbertson’s absence for several days caused the manager to become increasingly anxious. Officers conducting the welfare check reported that they knocked on the door for 45 minutes before Daniel Roush, who goes by the name “Jazlynn,” answered

 

 

 

the door and engaged in conversation with the police. According to the arrest report, Roush related that they encountered Gilbertson at Home Depot. Roush was subsequently reportedly offered a place to remain by Gilbertson in exchange for performing minor repairs to the residence. While residing there, Roush asserted that he had reimbursed Gilbertson for a portion of the rent.

Roush stated that they were utilising amphetamine, but Gilbertson clarified that he preferred opiates and cocaine.

 

 

According to court documents, Gilbertson was under the impression that Roush was thieving from her and made an attempt to evict them. Roush provided the police with conflicting accounts regarding the location of Gilbertson’s body in the residence, according to the report.

 

 

 

In one instance, Roush informed the police that narcotics were on the table, and Gilbertson’s stiff body was located near the table with her head cocked. Then, moments later, the original claim was contradicted by the assertion that Gilbertson was discovered in a wooden chair in a bird room.
