Michael van Gerwen heads up the Quarter-Final line-up at Players Championship 12 in Hildesheim as we reach the business end.
Van Gerwen made short work of Kai Gotthardt in the last sixteen. The 35-year-old only conceded one leg and won 6-1 after a 12-darter and a 14-darter. Van Gerwen will face Madars Razma in the next round after the Latvian’s 6-4 victory over Andy
Noppert knocked Peter Wright out of the tournament 6-3. The Freeze’ faces Keane Barry in the quarter-finals. Barry eliminated Ryan Meikle after a decisive leg.
The remaining quarter-final is between Boris Krcmar and Dimitri van den Bergh. ‘The Dreammaker’ won 6-3 over Dom Taylor, and Krcmar was 6-2 too strong for Haupai Puha at the last sixteen.
